We’re very excited about two new programs available this fall October 7 to 10. One, Adirondack Music, Song and Dance is a spin-off and programmatic extension of our ever popular Mountain Music Weekend and will be running for its second year. The other is a Beer History and Appreciation Workshop modeled after our Black Fly Craft Brewing Weekend. Click the links to register or see details below to learn more!
Space for both programs is limited – register soon!
Adirondack Music, Song and Dance – This carefully crafted workshop explores some of the greatest Adirondack traditions – folk music, dance, traditional instruments and storytelling. Spend the four days in small workshops honing talents or discovering new ones. Instructors are Dan Berggren, John Kirk and Trish Miller, Bill Smith and Dan and Carmen Gilman. This program is booked through Road Scholar on their website here or by calling 1-800-454-5768 and registering for program #14641RJ.
Beer History and Appreciation Workshop – This small-group course provides an introduction to the making and history of beer, with a special focus on craft brewing. Participants will learn about the varied history of beer-brewing through an examination of several beer styles and their origins. Beer pairing with meals will also be discussed. The course is led by master brewer Rich Michaels of F.X. Matt Brewing. See our website for the full itinerary and call 315-354-5311 x21 to register.
